Rules

  • Complexe sportif Bell-Hall d'entréeThe Landlord reserves the right to refuse access to the playing surface to the tenant in the case of non-respect of payment conditions described above.
  • No goods or services, other than the playing field and the locker rooms, are included in the hourly rate mentioned above.
  • The Tenant cannot transfer his rights in the present rental contract; neither can he/she rent out their field time or any other affiliated services provided in the contract to another party or person.
  • The Tenant will pay an interest on any amount payable described in the present contract which is not paid by its due date, calculated from the due date to the date paid, at a monthly rate of two percent (2%).
  • The obligations of the parties under these bind their successors and their rights.
  • The start and end times of the rent period correspond and are limited to the hours listed above.
  • It is the responsibility of each team to lock the dressing rooms assigned.
  • The users must leave the playing surface immediately at the end of the rental period.
  • The Tenant must leave the locker room(s) forty (40) minutes (rinks) and twenty (20) minutes (fields) after their rental period.
  • All periods of rent on the ice include a 10 minute period for the flood and a five (5)  minutes transition period for fields to allow a good transition between rental periods. For field’s rental, only if otherwise mentioned, this five (5) minute period will take place at the end of the rental period.
  • The Tenant will abide by the laws, regulations, decrees and orders of all public authorities concerning sport regulations. It is highly recommended to wear the proper player’s equipment at all times.
  • It is strictly forbidden to bring or possess any alcoholic beverages in the Bell Sports Complex. The tenant is aware the facility is a licensed facility that does not allow any alcoholic beverages to be brought in from any exterior sources. Penalty charges of $5.25 per bottle will be applied and charged directly to the offender. Exterior food and beverages are forbidden.
  • The use of drugs or any other illegal substances is strictly prohibited, and offenders will be automatically expelled from the facility and banned for the rest of the season.
  • The Bell Sports Complex is a non-smoking facility; it is therefore strictly prohibited to smoke in the facility.
  • The users are not allowed to bring glass, metal, or other objects inside the Bell Sports Complex, other than the materials necessary to their sport.
  • The management of the Bell Sports Complex does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen objects.
  • Only in the case of negligence of the Landlord, it is agreed that the Landlord cannot be held responsible for any accident or incident happening inside the Bell Sports Complex or on its grounds. Without limiting the generality of what precedes, the Landlord cannot be held responsible for accidents or incidents happening to users and spectators in the time they are practicing/attending their sporting activity.
  • No posters, or anything of that nature, are permitted in the Bell Sports Complex, without the consent of the Landlord.
  • The Tenant must not sell or distribute any articles or products of any kind inside the Bell Sports Complex.
  • The Tenant is responsible for discipline and conduct of its users on the playing surface and in public areas, including the parking lot. Any lack of respect towards employees can result in the cancellation of the present contract.
  • No degradation or modification of the surrounding area or equipment will be tolerated. All acts of vandalism, including, without limiting the generality that precedes, all graffiti, will result in the immediate expulsion of the offender and could result in a legal pursuit. In these circumstances, the costs of repairs and/or replacement will also be charged in full to the offender or tenant, in the event of a failure of the offender.
  • If the Tenant does not respect any of the obligations present in this contract he/she will be held responsible for any damages or inconveniences. Any such failure could also result in termination of this rental contract. In such circumstances, the Landlord may use, in whole or in part, the space that it has to fill in whole or in part, the loss or the damage it suffered as a result of default by the Tenant.
  • Filming, recording, or broadcasting of any sporting events or any other activity held in the Bell Sports Complex is strictly prohibited without prior written consent of Landlord.
  • The Landlord shall not be held responsible for any failure on its part to fulfill its obligations if such failure arises from a fortuitous or unforeseen event. Without limiting the generality of what precedes, the Landlord shall not be liable if there were difficulties of a mechanical nature, a strike, a power failure or because of any other event beyond its control.
  • The Landlord reserves the right to assign a different playing surface than that provided in this rental contract and without prior notice necessary, provided that such a situation is not permanent.
  • If the playing surface requires maintenance work or repairs that are of urgent nature, the Landlord may interrupt the rental period and users must leave the playing area during the work, and when this work will be completed, users can continue their activities, but without an extension of the lease period.
  • The contract holder/representative understands his obligation to inform all participants of all rules and regulations applicable and his responsibility in ensuring each are followed.
  • The contract holder must read all terms and conditions written in the contract prior to field/rink/room usage. Terms and conditions subject to change upon management review and needs.
